Autostarting Skype under Mandriva

    Installed mandriva one 2009 this evening, all running well out of the box.
    got skype installed but can't get it to start on boot up, any help please?

    im new to mandriva as well [and not that proficient in gnome [xfce fan here], and i hope someone knows the xfce-autostart-editor in mandriva gnome. :D

    got it sorted using the linpus script found on this forum

    For anybody else wondering, in GNOME it's System -> Preferences -> Sessions -> Startup Programs.

    I didn't do it that way, I added this via a terminal:

    ln -s /usr/share/applications/skype.desktop .config/autostart/

    The CLI method should work for pretty much any program on any Linux distro.

    Where did you guys find Skype for Mandriva 0NE 2009? I downloaded the Mandriva version, but it doesn't work (no audio)
    It gives an error during installation.

    update: redownloaded the file, and tried again, ... Skype is working now on my AA1

    But auto-starting skype on boot is not working.
