In Linpus, if you are connected to wifi and then you plug in a live cat5 cable, the wifi disconnects and the traffic is routed over the wire. Unplug the wire and the system drops the eth0 connection and brings up the wifi.

That's great, but I've installed Ubuntu (and I'm very happy that I did) and this switch is not happening. When I plug in a cable when I'm connected to the wifi, eth0 comes up and DHCP's an address, but ath0 stays up as well, so I have two IP addresses, this can cause issues, plus it'd be nice to save power on the wireless when wired.

Has anyone else seen this problem, and does anyone know how to configure Ubuntu to behave like Linpus in this respect? Thanks.
