Audio Playback problems

    Don't know why this is happening but it seems playback of mp3s on winamp or wmp seems to lag. MP3s lag more that flac files. There seems to be considerable hdd accessing. But 720p video plays back fine with little or not hdd accessing. Any ideas?

    Having the similar problems playing back MP3s in foobar and WMP
    It starts out fine then the while it plays the computer essentially freezes
    I can't open any new windows or switch between any already open but aero effects like aero peek still work and I can't even bring up Ctrl-Alt-del
    I've updated to version 2.28 of the audio drivers and while that problem is solved whenever I try to play something out of the built in speakers it starts skipping, however if I plug in my headphones it's fine.
