Audio out of sync playing 720P video

    I have an Acer Aspire One D257-13404 with atom N455 1.66GHZ and 2 GB memory. I have installed Coreavc and Windows Media Player Classic-HC. My problem is playing 720P videos, from file, not online. The video is smooth as silk, but the audio is way out of sync. I have tried everything I can think of but no luck. I am running the net book very lean in terms of extras in an attempt to save on CPU use.

    Does anyone have any suggestions such as settings for Coreavc and WMPC-HC? I am using the suggested settings found online for this netbook. Just can't get the audio to sync.
