ASUS Laptop screen problem

    My ASUS Laptop screen has about 2 inches of dark screen on the right edge. Then, sometimes it flickers or or turns white. Lines appear on the lower part of the screen as well. How can I tell whether this is the screen or video card or something else. I have done a hard reset and that didn't help.
