Aspire one not booting? lol

Hello, I have recently stumbled onto a problem with my aunts Aspire One she has for her business. It will boot up ok until the point of loading windows xp, after that it hit a black screen and then a few seconds after that it hits a blue screen with no writing on it but it only appears for like half a second. Any ideas guys? Thanks :)
