I had performed the heatsink mod on my Aspire One AOA150-1890 in which I had installed 5 miniature sized heatsinks above the area where the VGA chip sits. Similiar to other posters I can confirm a 5-8 degree celsius drop in the heat of the processor as recorded by A1CTL. The heatsinks were purchased for around three dollars in total and came in a pack of eight. (One of them is shown in the image below)

My results were as follows (all testing was done using A1CTL Version 1.0):

A1CTL was setup in the following manner:
    - disable fan under 60 degrees - start fan in slow mode at 60 degrees - start fan in auto mode at 65 degrees -

    WITHOUT HEATSINKS

    IDLE PROCESSOR @ 800MHZ = 57 DEGREES
YOUTUBE HIGH QUALITY VIDEO PLAYING @ 800MHZ = 61 DEGREES

    IDLE PROCESSOR @ DYNAMIC = 60 DEGREES
YOUTUBE HIGH QUALITY VIDEO PLAYING @ DYNAMIC = 71 DEGREES

    WITH HEATSINKS

    IDLE PROCESSOR @ 800MHZ = 51 DEGREES
YOUTUBE HIGH QUALITY VIDEO PLAYING @ 800MHZ = 56 DEGREES

    IDLE PROCESSOR @ DYNAMIC = 55 DEGREES
YOUTUBE HIGH QUALITY VIDEO PLAYING @ DYNAMIC = 63 DEGREES

I invite other posters to compare their results with mine. The benchmarking was rushed and is not as accurate as others.
(Please do not take this as definitive. It is provided for comparision.)

I have provided images of my setup below:

very nice and clean Mod !
and the results are also very good.

replacing the entire heatsink with a cooper one would increase the netbook weight, i was thinking of using the cooper coller from my ATI x1950XT , witch is pretty heavy ;)

    idle at 1600mhz - 41
