Aspire 5733z New screen not properly working.

    I had a cracked screen on my laptop, so I used a plug and an old desktop monitor for a while which is a hassle. Anyways I ordered a new laptop screen

    and I've install the 40pin plug properly (I believe)

    but when I try to switch it back from my moniter to normal single screen (and even when its plug in) it remains a backlit blank screen. I've asked around for help but I decided to come on a forum where there will be multiples of people that are good at this stuff :) So if anyone could possibly help me figure out my problem that would be more than stellar.
