Aspire 5332 upgrade to Windows 10?

I am perfectly happy with my laptop using Windows 7 but with the end of support for 7 is upgrading to 10 feasible? Microsoft are doing their best to persuade me otherwise. I would be very grateful for advice as to whether it is a good idea and if so the best way to go about it. I also wonder whether the universe will end if I simply continue with 7. I am very old and it must easily last longer than me.
