Arrg! Broke my MSI GS75 Stealh camera ribbon cable! Do I need to fix it if I don't use the camera.

My MSI GS75 Stealth 9SF cooler fan died. I opened up the machine to replace it. While doing so I missed disconnecting the camera ribbon cable and I broke it near the hinge. I've purchased a replacement cable, but replacing it means disassembly of the glued together screen - a lot more work. I never use the camera anyway. If I reassemble without the camera cable, will it affect the machine being able to work properly?

Hi, Kaiso! Your laptop should be able to work just fine without camera. Just disconnect it from the motherboard to ensure that no short circuit could be produced (I don't know how it is broken). If you ever need webcam you can just buy cheap usb one.
