The Operating system is OSX 10.5.(something), The Iaktos disk

I'm simply getting an Icon at the top, when I click on it, there are three options, the first two are blanked out and the last one says Power Off Card.

I've heard some success stories, but i'm not having one!

I too have the toolbar icon and I can also see that there are pci cards listed in about this mac referencing each of the card reader buses.

there has to be a fix out there somewhere for this or one that we can adapt to this.

Unlike many laptots, the SD slots are not bridged from USB, but are driven by a Jmicro PCI->SD controller. JMicro would have to cough up an OS/X driver.
