AOD255-1625 and Windows 7 Pro Retail PROBLEM

    As soon as i got my new Acer, I immediately tried to install Windows 7 Pro (retail) (after adding another gig of ddr3).

    I get to the first reboot and it comes up asking if I want to startup in safe mode. No matter what I do I cannot get the install to continue. Next I tried Windows 7 Pro 64bit (retail) and the install goes without a problem.

    Can anyone tell me why the 32bit version of W7 wont install??

    Maybe a problem with the disc you used for doing the upgrade.
