Hi, I'm new here and this is my first post. Had a charging issue with my aspire one d250 a while back..the charging indicator went off one time I plugged it in to charge so I unplugged and got a new charger some days later(after the remaining battery life had drained itself). The charging indicator came on & it signified it was charging when I turned it on but the battery never stores any charge. Immediately I pull the ac cord out, it goes off. I tried replacing the battery but they all do the same thing. Now it has gotten worst. It doesn't even detect any battery when I turn it on. It shows no battery detected but still runs on AC. Please help :(

Hi there, your problem could be with the DC Power Jack, it can become disconnected from the motherboard so the AC adapter just cannot charge the battery. Best to replace it if you think the laptop is worth it.

Here is a link to a repair specialist in the States with some more info.
