I have an Acer Aspire One D260 with this card reader.
There is no driver for it as yet, see
    https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour ... bug/633852
    and
    https://wiki.ubuntu.com/HardwareSupport ... s/Netbooks
Other distributions have the same problem with no driver
It may be some time before a volunteer writes the driver, in the mean time may I suggest using a camera or card reader or dual boot.

    Hey everyone,

Waiting for my Acer Aspire One AO532h-2258 from Office Max, should be here in a couple of days. So I am probably going to get more ram once I get the unit. I will try the netbook first without it and see how it runs, but most likely get more ram.

Do you guys think it's worth the 45ish dollars for the upgrade? Is there a noticeable difference?

It looks like from the small sample size we have in this post that the consensus is to purchase the Kingston ram.

Anymore people try either of these rams and if they work/don't work, please let us know!

I know this is an old thread, but I thought I'd add another working module.
    G.skill F2-6400CL5S-2GBSK (from Newegg)
The heat spreader on this module makes it a tight fit, but it does fit. Bios and Win 7 both show 2GB but it's suffering from the previously mentioned restart bug (Win 7 reports 1GB after a restart). As long as I remember to fully shut down and manually restart with the power button instead of using the restart option in Windows, it continues to report 2GB.

BIOS is v1.25 (updated from 1.24)

    Kingston KTH-ZD8000C6/2G is working.
