    Hi all,
I am helping my elder uncles learning some computing with an Aspire One I gave them as a present. I live abroad, though, and the only way I really have to help them when things gets tough is to install VNCserver on it next time I will visit them.

I have no way to test this before I go, though, and I will be there only for a few hours next Friday. Did anyone already try and has any suggestion?

What I did so far is trying installing VNCserver on a standard Linpus on a VMWare virtual machine, but I believe that the Acer version is quite different. Just to make an example, no yum in the standard Linpus! I failed so far, because of a missing libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3 library (which, from other forums, looks like a big problem in itself).

    Please help!
