Hi, I have my AAO 150 running Leopard 10.5.6, following the excellent instructions by sbM in the post "Mac OS X 10.5.6 install for dummies (using iATKOS_5i)".

On my AAO I also have Windows XP and Ubuntu installed, and for both of them I was able to find tools that avoid having the fan spinning all the time (http://www.hexagora.com/en_dw_aspireone.asp for Windows and http://www.piie.net/files/acerhdf_kmod-0.2.2-2.tar.gz for Linux).

I was wondering if there's something available for Leopard that could do the same trick for the Aspire One?

I tried smcFanControl, but it doesn't work.

Doesn't matter if I use voodoo or vanilla kernels, my fan is spinning all the time, not at max speed, but I can always hear the noise.
