All drivers required!

    Hey! I just installed windows xp on my acer ASPIRE ONE AOA110-1722. I want to know hat drivers i need besides the wireless internet and sound. and where i can find them. Thank You!

    You should get drivers for:

    1. Webcam
    2. LAN (Wireless and wired)
    3. motherboard chipset
    4. Video
    5. Touchpad
    6. SD Card reader

    I believe that is it. Find them all on Acer's site. After you load the ones from Acer, do a Windows Update as I believe there are updated versions of some of these drivers available through WU.

    The official download sire seems to be down.

    Any other sources for the drivers for windows XP?

    Question. When I was searching a few months back for the drivers, I came across a wireless driver that is different from the (popular) one that is available everywhere. This driver allowed the option to see channels upto 13 rather than 11. From all the tweakin I do with my books, I have re-installed a few times. But in the process, I can not locate that driver anymore. Some hotspots I can not hit because of this issue. Does anyone know of this driver? I thought I got it through macles blog, but went back thru it and cant find it there. Oh yeah, this was when I had Vista installed. It was the best wireless ability I had. I had readings far beyond any other wifi card I've used.
