Advice on drivers needed

    Hello. My Lenovo Z51-70 is apx 3 yrs old.
    Before this I had a PC which I had the OS disk and MB driver/bios etc,so I could do clean installs etc.
    This laptop came with OS installed and full of bloatware and no OS disk or drivers etc.
    In the 3 years I have had the laptop and doing windows update (W8) no drivers for chips/graphics etc have been installed.
    The grapics ,intel hd 5500 driver is dated 2015 , I use the Lenovo update programme and it tells me I have the latest driver.i do not, same with chipset and cpu.
    Can I manually update these with the intel site drivers? will this conflict with all the "Lenovo" stuff on the laptop.
    The PC I had no worries with.
    Any help would be great please
