I recently got my white 6cell aspire one from amazon.
The battery started running low earlier today. I tried to plug in but the two pieces (power cord & adaptor) wouldn't connect together. It seems like the power cord might be a little small. What should i do? Please advice :(

I hope my post is clear I'm not great with the technical terms..

It basically looks like this (found the pic online) and it has 3 prongs or whatever.

I will post a picture of mine when I get home this evening.

Mine took more force than expected but it did work. How hard have you tried to shove the cord into the adapter?

I know what it looks like, I have an AAO with power adapter, I want to see a picture of how it is not fitting in.

So I tried forcing the parts together harder and it actually fit! Thanks both of you. I feel embarrassed now. But relieved I don't have to order another one.

I was thinking it wouldn't fit at first too. I guess in a way this is a good 'feature', you know that cord is not going to slip out of there accidentally!
