Acer One's platter sizes?

    but seek times are terrible on the 5400.5 in comparison to the 5400.4.

    I moved from 320gb 5400.5 to 320gb 7200.3 and the battery life hit is minimal to me (maybe 10 minutes using 6 cell) in comparison. Speed wise, it is noticeable, and well worth it (got it for $79 CAN + tax a few weeks ago).

    I actually swapped the 5400.5 320gb inside my Maxtor OneTouch Mini 4 with the bundled Hitachi 160GB. The Hitachi one has no problem working with the Maxtor backup program. So swapping seems to be a plus for me.

    I feel that 5400.5 is faster than the bundled Hitachi 160GB and it uses less power (though I didn't actually test how many minutes in battery it can save).

    That's why I used the 5400.5. If I want to spend money to get a new one, 7200.3 is definitely what I will buy.
