    Mail: Thunderbird
    Multimedia: Amarok, Vlc
Photo: Picasa, PTLens (runs with Wine)
    Office: FreeMind, KDissert
    Local network: pyNeighborhood
At this point, the A1 meets all my needs... ;)

sorry offtopic, I try to sen PM without success
I managed to compile driver to my dvb-t usb stick, but after I installed newest kaffeine 0.86 linpus desktop goes blackwhite striped after boot up.
so which version you have installed from kaffeine and which xine packages ?
    xine-lib, xine-lib-extra-nonfree ?

edit: I solved, kaffeine 0.8.5 version and xine-lib-extras and also xine-lib-extras-nonfree installed from terminal..

The usual, VLC, Picasa etc., but a surprisingly big thing was installing Compiz-Fusion. I don't care for the effects, but the scale plugin, which is basically what exposé does on OS X, is a big help combined with four virtual desktops on a device with so little screen space. Also a smooth transition from one desktop to another makes the experience less jarring. Also installed Amarok, nice to see they have MTP device support right out of the box nowadays. That's something my One does better than my Mac Pro running OS X, now.
