Acer aspire r3 13it

    My son being curious opened his laptop, he pressed two buttons, one I think was a battery reset button, the other I don't know but it is very close to the reset button and now the laptop won't run unless it's plugged in, how do I fix what he did, typical teen don't listen to mom and dad till it's too late.

    Welcome to the laptop forums site

    It may not be what your son has done,it could be a faulty battery

    I would take it back to the shop

    You could try removing the battery and the power supply
    pressing the power button on continuously for 1 minute.

    The refitting the battery and powering on.
