    Hi Guys

I have recently installed Ubuntu 8.10 - Intrepid Ibex on my Acer Aspire One Netbook and i have discovered that both the SD card reader and Multi card reader does not work.

I am using kernel 2.6.27-11-generic. I have tried using an older kernel version also, but the readers still did not work.

Can somebody please tell me how to fix this problem?

    Many thanks all

... or install a custom kernel. Sickboy's kernel on http://www.aspireonekernel.com solves those problems. Another solution: get Ubuntu 9.04 with the new kernel that supports Netbook hardware way better.
