acer aspire 8735g does not copy large files

    Hi,
    I have acer aspire 8735g
    I cannot copy files from the external HDD to my PC. It either freezes or stops without firing any sort of error. My suggestion is that there is something wrong with Hardware because I have done a complete reinstall of windows 7 and nothing changed.
    I found out that people who have this laptop have exactly the same problem as me.

    This guy have exactly the same laptop and exactly the same problem.
    Have you got any idea which component should I change? Is it a motherboard or HDD?

    I'd check the acer website for any bios upgrades for your laptops mainboard.
