AAO thinks it is on mains all the time

    I recently tried the XFCE desktop switch, and it didn't work, so I uninstalled it. The switch script stopped most of my hardware being recognised. The uninstall sorted pretty much everything out, but now the netbook thinks it is plugged into the mainsallthe time. There is not even a 100% battery indication. The system runs fine on battery, but is unaware it is on battery. When I plug/unplug the screen brightness changes, so it seems that the problem is in linpus lite.
    Can anyone suggest anything to check or change tofix this.
