I hope this is the right place for my question. I have the AAO running on Linpus. I have an iPod 4th generation (color screen). The iPod is not recognized by the computer, it doesn't even show up in the devices panel. I don't really care for not being able to see and use my music from the AAO, but I do care for using the USB port to charge the iPod battery. The problem is, since the iPod is not recognized by the computer, I get the "do not disconnect" screen on my iPod as soon as I plug it in, but I can't disconnect it from the computer because it doesn't appear anywhere.
even if linux isn't able to read the content of my iPod, it should at least suggest that I format the iPod, as windows does when I plug it in (my iPod is formatted for mac).
    Any suggestions ?
    Thanks !
