That's a very good deal. I bought mine for $290 incl. shipping but I'm in Sweden so I wouldn't have been able to take advantage of that Newegg offer anyway.

    I think in 2009 sub-$200 Netbooks will become a reality :)

For whatever reason the Newegg link I posted takes you to the page with the product being sold at the 'old regular price' of $329. The "deal" price may be found on the "daily deals" pages.

    Sorry for any confusion.

I jumped on it, too. After over a month of debating and thinking and wondering about which color to get, I did it. The color decision was made for me, too, thank god. Can't wait for it to arrive.

Same here. I played with coding on a pink EEE 701 during a conference earlier this year ($299 at the time?). Couldn't *stand* the keyboard. Buddy I work with bought a 701 this summer to take on a business trip. He likes it for what he used it for...taking notes and running a projector. But this deal for $250...infinitely better keyboard, higher res screen...I just couldn't pass this one up. This may give my wife's compaq evo n410c a run for its money!
