I have recently bought an A0531h (Windows 7 starter). I know little of computers, go as far as knowing that a system back-up is needed.

    Searching through the forum I read about AA1BACKUP (http://macles.blogspot.com/2008/12/acer ... ackup.html)
I downloaded the installer, plugged in a 4-USB drive, executed the file, rebooted and nothing happened when I pressed F12. I rebooted again and press F2 (which seems to be the only option) where I have access to a menu (which I had never before needed to see since I first used a computer some 20 years ago), went into BOOT and it seems that I can only move a selection of drives where to boot to, but I was unable to access the BACKUP or RESTORE menu the post mentions.

Do excuse my lack of programming knowledge but I don't have a clue as to what to do to make the AA1BACKUP work.

Thank you very much in advance, regards from sunny Spain.
