A0250 cRYSTAL eYE cAM

    wIN7 uLTIMATE.iS ANYONE ELSE HAVING A PROBLEM WITH CAMERA? I HAVE HAD THE UNIT DISAPPEAR FROM DEVICE MANAGER IN BOTH NORMAL & SAFE MODES, SYSTEM RESTORE DOESN'T DO IT.LATEST DRIVERS ARE INSTALLED FROM ACER WEBSITE. ANYBODY HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS. APPARENTLY, THIS WAS A COMMON OCCURANCE 4 THIS UNIT WHEN RUNNING XP.

    I don't know what to tell you. Have had my unit for years without error. If I were guessing on some troubleshooting, then I would probably completely remove any and all drivers associated with the cam and start from scratch.

    Please do a forum search. This has been discussed many times before. The "Acer Crystal Eye" webcams have a history of failing for no apparent reason. The only solution is a firmware update, or a replacement.
