There seems to be a lot of conflicting info about whether the Win XP models (with hard disc) come with a 6 cell battery as standard. For example, this review...
    http://www.trustedreviews.com/notebooks ... Netbook/p1

...suggests on the first page that it comes with a 6 cell, and then on the final page claims that it doesn't.

So, can anyone clarify whether UK models (with Win XP and the hard disc) come with a 6 cell battery or a 3 cell battery as standard?

The majority of the sales info out there suggests that XP models will be 3 cell.
But, Sales info also stated 80gb drives, and as we know they will be 120gig units.

    Confusion reigns !

    Amazon.co.uk confuses me most:

The models with HDD are stated to have 3 cell batteries, and are also stated to weigh 1.26Kg on Amazon.
BUT Acer claims that a 3 cell battery SKU weighs 0.995Kg and a 6 cell SKU will weigh 1.26Kg.

Which bit is Amazon/Acer wrong about?

Has anyone received orders orders of the 120Gb model in the UK, what's the deal?

I'm really tempted by the 512Mb 120Gb linpus model, but as it only costs £10 more than the 8Gb flash model, I find it difficult to believe it will come with a 6cell battery.
Maybe what I find the hardest is that the only way to know is to wait and see.... WAIT and see... cannot :(

Even waiting to see is not good enough, there are loads of people who did not get a slip case with their One, but some of us did, go figure.

So, is there anybody who has received one today and can confirm whether it comes with the 3-cell or the 6-cell?

Mine shows 24686mWh for capacity. I assume it's a 3 cell unit and from what I understand the 6 cell units will protrude more at the back. That's why the gap between the edge of the LCD lid and the rear of the unit to allow space for a larger battery and still be able to open close it.

Do you have any pics of how the 6 cell fits on the laptop?

It appears then that WinXP/120GB models sold in the UK come with a 3-cell battery. But the models sold in HK (and possibly elsewhere?) come with a 6-cell.

if you search, i think pics have already been posted elsewhere.

basically the battery juts out from the back of the laptop.
