I bought this hard drive for my AAO about a year back. I have now however removed the hard drive and installed its original back as the AAO has gone on its merry way.

I now need an adapter to convert the 40-pin ZIF connection to something usable so I can access the data off it and then wipe it. I know I should have done this before getting rid of the AAO!!!!

I have purchased a ZIF to SATA adapter accept I cant get it to recognise the drive in Windows. Has anybody had any experience with these adapters as I really am stuck! I cant even see the drive in my bios settings!.

    Thanks!

Get a USB to ZIF adapter from ebay, it worked for me and the genuine Acer ZIF SSD from Samsung.

Would you like to sell your ZIF SSD ?
