This sounds like a dumb question but our 3-cell batteries have capacities listed as 45Wh, but if we do the math, use 11.1V x 2200mAh then we get 24.42Wh. Did I miss anything here?

Listed where? Mine has 10.8V, 2200 mAH and 23.76 Wh listed on the battery. If 23.76 Wh is supposed to be average system draw, then 45 Wh capacity would be right on the money, as it only lasts about 2 hours.

Mine has 11.1v, 2200mAh and 45Wh listed on the battery. 2200mAh is the 3 Li-on cells' capacity, times the voltage should give you the total battery capacity, not system draw, right?

In comparison, the HP Elitebook 6930's much bigger 6-cell battery is listed to have a 55Wh capacity.

That's interesting, you are seeing two different voltages on the batteries?

The battery should be 11.1V because each cell outputs 3.7V, but that's not the point. The problem is that the battery is listed as 45Wh, which isn't right. It should be somewhere 25Wh, another example is Lenovo S10's 3-cell has 28Wh.

I agree, it must be a print error.
    3-cell battery should be 24, or 27 watt-hour capacity(2200mah, 2400mah).
Yes, Acer has 2 types of 2-cell batteries. Luckily I got the 2400mah version.
The Dell-E9 has 4-cell battery and are rated 32watt-hour. This give upto 4 hour runtime.
There's no way the 3-cell from acer is 45watt-hour. We would be getting 5-6 hours of runtime if that was true.
