I live in Canada and I'm looking for a new 15-inch budget/mid-range laptop for max price of $600.

I want a budget laptop I still want one with a dedicated graphics card. I want the flexibility to be able to play games and so that means no integrated ones. I know this is pushing it at that price range but I have managed to see this one by ACER on sale at BestBuy.ca

I just wanted to know if this was a good deal or could i do better, any other suggestions 15 inch, $600 with dedicated graphics?

    Acer Aspire 5

    Model: A515-41G-12AX

    2.7GHz AMD A12-9720

Dedicated 2 GB - RX 540 graphics card

    8GB of RAM

This is a pretty good deal. As there aren't many options available for the laptop with dedicated graphics under $600.

Thanks for the reply actually in the end I went for:

AMD Ryzen 5 2500U Laptop with integrated graphics. It seems AMD have some pretty good integrated graphics solutions meaning dedicated graphics wasn't as much of an issue as I had thought. Plus the AMD Ryzen 5 2500U CPU is much better than the AMD A12-9720 CPU that I was initially interested in so overall the laptop i got was better. I got lucky and got a deal saved $250.ca by getting an open box sale!
