I happened to have a spare of HTC424020F7AT00, which is a 1.8 HD 20GB with ATA-5 connector. Would appreciate if someone could verify whether this hard disk is compatible with the ATA-7 connector of AA0 110. Please advise. Thanks

    Hi

ATA5 and ATA7 are just referring to the speed, i.e. UDMA/66 and UDMA/133 respectively, however, the connector of your HTC424020F7AT00 (http://www.bwi.com/prod/15071) is not the right type. It should be a ZIF connector compatible with a Flexible flat cable (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flat_Flex_Cable).
