I have hust bought in uk an aspire one netbook.
On the back it says its a ZG8 model and also says its a AO531h model.
It only has a 3 cell battery ( no UM09A31.
    I want a 6 or 9 cell if poss.
On the various websites it shows different batteries for these two different model numbers.
Acer online tech says the ZG8 is actually the AO531 anyway.
Its a 10.1" screen by the way.
I dont know if I should buy the battery for the ZG8 or the531 anybody can halpplease ?????

I won a this netbook at a conference about a year ago. The 3 cell battery that came with it is a UM09A75.
The netbook model # is ZG8 C Test (Pre Release) and I am also confused about the batteries. The 3 cell is compact
and light but doesn't last very long. The 6 and 9 cell would be great, have you found any info on the right battery
    model numbers?

The reason why the 'compact' 3 cell doesn't last long... is because it is only 3 cells...
replacement cells have from 6 cells upward, are heavier, more bulky and give you a longer usage life
6 cell - twice as long... 9 cell three times as long...

You could even buy ANOTHER 3 cell battery and just swap it out... after all they are quite cheap on Amazon.
