I was wondering if the following is possible...
    a) If the SSD in the Linux version is really that bad, is it possible to upgrade it with a more modern one?
Reason: More space would be nice and sticking with SSD is crucial since when I do get one, I plan to keep it in my messenger bag w/ textbooks.
    b) Is reinstalling Linpus a chore or elementary?
Reason: Reinstalling an OS is kind of foreign to me. I would probably end up forgetting drivers and such.
    c) If (a) is possible, is any major "surgery" required, like a RAM upgrade?

Other Notes: Since these are theoretical, (1) Cost is not an object, (2) Budget for the project would be handy, (3) System in mind: Sapphire Blue Case, 3-cell, Linpus Linux OS.

    SEARCH, SEARCH, SEARCH...

    HDD:
    viewtopic.php?f=43&t=529
    viewtopic.php?f=43&t=637
    viewtopic.php?f=43&t=59

Cost of HDD will be about £50 delivered - in UK obviously...

    RAM:
    viewtopic.php?f=40&t=2673&p=19814&hilit=ram+socket#p19814

Cost of RAM will be £20 delivered - in UK obviously...

    Installation:
There is a lot of different ways to install Linux. All of them are quite simple. You can find info about them in:

    viewforum.php?f=13
    viewforum.php?f=5
    viewforum.php?f=7

Depends on system. Preferred/easiest way of doing this is via external CD/DVD drive. In that case it will cost you about £25 delivered - in UK obviously...
