    Hi,

I have a Toshia Satellite C55-A-1HN. I've recently replaced the battery as the last one had completely died. However, just 5/6 weeks later, the laptop is again constantly dependent on the cable being plugged in, which is a big inconvenience. I wondered if it was the new battery I'd bought or whether there is likely to be a bigger internal issue? I'm still using the original cable, so that may need replacing but that wasn't my first thought?

Any advice would be great. I'm a student so cannot be without a laptop and being tethered to the wall constantly is a big pain.

    Thanks! :)

The power meter utility (if available) also shows that battery is connected and charging. But… as soon as you unplug the AC adapter, the laptop shuts off completely. Possible problems: ... The battery not seated correctly.
