Per another thread here, I ordered a 1.8" Samsung hard drive with a zif cable connector. I believe that the zif cable may be damaged (I pulled off the blue thing on the end so it'd be small enough to get into the drive, but that may have damaged the cable; it is now sort of curled up from me pulling it off...I've straightened it as much as possible, but it may be beyond repair. Also, I tried the sanding part though I probably didn't need to).

My question is regarding a replacement zif cable. Where is the best place to buy it? eBay? Do they make a cable that's a little more manageable? That is, the placement of the 1.8" hd and the zif connector on the board don't line up well, so it takes a small bend to get it over properly. Is there a zif cable similar to rounded IDE cables?
