    Hi there,

I have a Acer Aspire One which is currently running Linpus Linux. I am new to linux and have a fault. The laptop doesn't reconise USB drives for me to be able to backup my data.

If I plug them in and turn it on and go into the BIOs they are reconised in there just fine and are bootable...

Is there anyway I can get them running in Linux, if not how do I backup my data and reinstall the laptop?

    Thanks alot,

    James.

If they are bootable and you just copied a bootable image to the USB flash drive, you'll have to reformat it before the drive will be writable.
