XPS 13 9365 skipping keys while on battery

    I have the performance on max while on battery, yet when I unplug, it seems the keyboard is far behind me and I have to retype every 5th or 6th keystroke twice. I thought that with 16 g RAM and a SSD drive, this would not happen. Please help.
