I just bought an Aspire 1 for my wife. It came softloaded with Linux so I reinstalled XP Pro. Problem was, there are no drivers for the built-in webcam. Can anybody please point me in the right direction where I can get the needed drivers?
    Thanks in advance.

I installed XP Pro too and the webcam didn't need a driver, it was shown as usb-webcam

Go there and download both the following:
    CCD_LiteOn_v.5.8.33.1.zip
    CCD_SUYIN_V.1.0.1.3.zip

I've heard of people having success with the LiteOn drivers being identified as the right ones with XP.. but I myself only got the SUYIN drivers to work in XP. It's not really a matter of trial or error... XP will either accept the driver or reject it... no double-guessing. Check it out; pretty simple.
