xp instal from linux - how easy

    i have an xp disc, may install it, how does it fair with the wireless working, audio working, and general drivers.

    also usb ports etc.

    can you have linux and xp installed and choose which one to launch on startup? as i like the interface of the linux but need xp for car diagnostics, i have wine on linux but just doesnt do the job for my software

    Yes. It's called dual-boot...



    It works fine but you must be aware Windows installer will clear your MBR during installation making Linux loader unusable. There is special operation involved to restore GRUB/Lilo... Normally you install Windows first, Linux second to have both systems operational...
