XP AA1 screen turns colors then goes black

    Just started today. After being on a few minutes faint colored lines appear on screen (pink, blue, green, red) then from side of screen black and grey patches slowly eat up entire screen. Any advice? Of course it just went out of warranty last month. Thanks in advance!

    Sounds like a dead / dying screen. Have you hooked it up to an external monitor to see if the problem persists on another monitor? I'd hope it's just the screen (replaceable) and not some hardware issue like the GPU dying (non-replaceable)
