I recently got the Acer Aspire One and at work we use the WPA2 Enterprise
so I followed this link: http://kengell.blogspot.com/2008/08/painless-acer-aspire-one-upgrade-for.html

The exact versions of the software was not up to date, but I foudn the right ones by FTPing to the site, and it doesn't talk about uninstalling openvpn and vnpc but I figured that much out

However, now network manager won't boot anymore, and I can't connect wirelessly or any other way. Becuase of the GUI I can't see if there are any error-messages on startup? Anybody got any hints or ideas?

Looks like that blog has just copy pasted straight from my post in this thread. Near the bottom of page 1 you'll find an archive with all the RPMs you need and a script to install them.
