Did you install it on an external or did you manage to squeeze in onto the SSD?

I've upgraded my RAM to 1,5 GB, and installed wine. But somehow I can't get WoW to start. In fact, I can't start any application that needs wine. How do boot programs (such as WoW) using wine? I did install the core pack (version 1).

edit: I'm not planning to actually play WoW on it, I just want to see how well it'll run. And perhaps use it when not at home when I want to check a few minor things.

It sounds like you need to execute wineconf
After installing wine is the first thing you need to do if you want to execute anything. Just execute wineconf and close the window it opens. Now it should work.

15 is great, I just get 6 FPS :(. I have the A150 (1GB RAM) and I've tried with both wine 1.0 under Linpus and wine 1.1 under Ubuntu 8.04. I also made the configuration changes recommended in http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.p ... &iId=11329.

Did you make any other change?
