Hi, is anyone else experiencing connectivity problems with Intrepids 2.6.27-3 kernel? I can see my AP and connect, but I am experiencing a 50% package drop. Is this a regression from 2.6.27-2? If it is, does anyone have the 2.6.27-2 packages still lying around?

I've tried to blacklist ath_pci as someone here mentioned, but that didn't really change much.

Well, I did the opposite of what is logical. I blacklisted the ath5k module (added "blacklist ath5k" to the bottom of /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist), downloaded http://snapshots.madwifi.org/madwifi-hal-testing-current.tar.gz, did a make/sudo make install and rebooted. Loaded ath_pci manually after reboot, and now I have a stable network connection.

I guess it is a nasty workaround until the ath5k driver works properly.
