Re: Windows XP Vista / Linux Drivers / Recovery DVD here

You can make the blue keys work by installing the acer launch manager for some other acer aspire model. It works fine with ALL the blue keys!
    Link: ftp://ftp.work.acer-euro.com/notebook/a ... .17.1e.zip
I read about it in this German Forum here: http://forum.eeepcnews.de/viewtopic.php ... &sk=t&sd=a

Maybe the other Acer tools also work, I did not try because it requires bloaty .net in the first place. [EDIT: I tried it now. The framework ETFInstaller-V2.03.2015-20060327.zip installs fine, but the epower manager ePower_1_6_6_277.zip aborts install with bluescreen :-(
KING, you could add the launch manager to the drivers section if not already done so?]

Re: Windows XP Vista / Linux Drivers / Recovery DVD / Manual

First of all thanks for the recovery image. I had to use it because a) I have no original recovery DVD and b) ...hum ... I had some problems with installation.
But there are some bugs in this image or better in the OS on the AA110.
    1. Translation errors (in german language)
    2. I can not perform the automatic update (that maybe will fix the problem) when I start the automatic update errormessage comes that says the server is option or something like that. I think it tries to connect to wron adress. Does Anybody knows whats the serveradress of the updateserver, and where I can change that?

Does anybody have a newer Recovery DVD and can upload it somewhere?

Windows vista Wlan drives are not working and I need some he

I cant get the Wlan drivers to work under windows vista home premium, When i do a manual install it installs the card as a Realtek RTL8101 PCI-E Fast Ethernet NIC, has anyone else had the same issue and if so how did you fix it?

I have the XP model, does that recovery image for Linpus Linux work on it? As in from install, everything works out of the box as if I were to buy the acer with linpus already installed?

Re: Windows vista Wlan drives are not working and I need some he

I, like many others over the weekend, purchased a The AOA 150-1570 at best buy. I'm almost done getting Vista installed, but I can't find a suitable LAN driver. Ideas? ( The Intel_LAN_Vista posted above didn't work for me. )

Check for a driver update in Windows Update. It should work.
