Windows Task Manager

    Hi all!

    I am using Windows XP Pro and it is running extremely SLOW. I have shut down all apllications and it is still running extremely slow. I open the Windows Task Manager and the CPU Usage showing 100% of usage!!

    How can that be when I have closed all applications????

    Does any of you know why Windows XP Pro or Hard Drive is running extremely slow? It took about 5-10 minutes to open up Internet Explorer!! Will it fix the issue if I replace the Hard Drive or re-install Windows XP Pro?

    Thanks for any advice!

    is the sound lagging on startup/playing movies etc?
