windows 7 on aspire one zg5

    hi, can i install windows 7 on a acer aspire one zg5 machine?
    does it work properly?!

    Yes you can, it works perfectly. Use the Windows 7 build 7077. Cheers. ;)

    I was wonder if the same model work with any other build. Do you need to manually update the drivers or will the old drivers work? Thanks

    Yes, you can use a later build. Maybe the 7077 was the latest build at the time as that post was back in April.

    The current release is 7600 RTM. And its simply magic...

    Hi everyone

    So, you're saying that on a ZG5 (an 8gb SSD + 1GB Ram) windows 7 is going to run well?

    I'm trying to find the Tiny version of 7 and then maybe i'll install flashfire.

    Check out my posts in the Tiny 7 discussion, there are a couple of tweaks there for Tiny 7 on the 8Gb SSD, and it runs like a dream!
