    Hello everyone,

I hope that someone can help me with my problems.

I recently upgraded to a 9 cell battery and ever since my battery meter will not show up in the sys tray bar.
I can get it to work by going into task manager and stopping then restarting Explorer. However it's a pain in the neck.

Also, for some reason my touchpad settings do not save after I restart my computer. I believe I do have the latest driver.

    System:
Aspire one 120gb 1gb ram windows xp version SP3.

Go to http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/top10faqs.htm and press ? in "Why don't my Notification Area icons show or why do they disappear?" and download the program from there and Disable SSDP and uPNP Service. That worked for me so i hope it does the same trick for you too :)
